Bill is a retired academic economist. He jokingly says he’s a "recovering economist". After 15 years of teaching, he tried the business world with a startup chain of bagel bakeries. Since his 1993 retirement, he’s taught part-time, most enjoyably with Len Tashman at the University of Vermont. Besides coordinating the software reviews, Bill plays trumpet in a dixieland band, and is an ardent student of the literature of Sherlock Holmes.
